LIGHTS is having a baby!! I am a huge fan of her music and her overall style. I feel like she is a great rolemodel when it comes to going after your dreams. She also seems so comfortable in her own skin, not conforming to being the typical sexy pop star or female artist. She is known for being a fan of video games and collecting knives, she is a bit of a tomboy. In her recent post on tumblr she says;
To quickly answer a few questions, we’re currently six months along, we won’t find out if it’s a girl or boy until D-day, and neither of us plan on stopping our journeys in music any time soon (in fact, I’ve already got album 3 in the works—two babies next year?).
I am VERY excited for her new music and I also think she looks so fabulous with her baby bump! Some celebs are in high heels and walking the red carpet showing off their belly in all the magazine features and cover. I think it is adorable that she is rocking her boots and leggings.
I always have a blast when I style Jacque Rae! They other day she came over to play dress up and took some looks for her upcoming date/event she is attending. Here is a video of our fun fitting! You can buy the RUMORS tank tops Jacque wore here: www.jazminwhitley.com

What did you think of this styling session?
I had the pleasure of styling Jacque Rae for the star studded Mayweather vs Canelo fight in Vegas. on Saturday Jacque jetted off to Vegas with friends to attend the fight. I pulled a fabulous matching crop top and mini skirt- my favorite trend at the moment. The strappy heels and vintage inspired jewelry finished off the very posh and polished look.
Fashion is art, however when you are selling fashion magazines to the public I think some things need to be censored. I think it is important to be careful with what you promoting or represinting. So many young adults (I started to want to read fashion magazines at the age of 13) are looking up to fashion magazine editors and what they put in the issues each month. I think they have a responsibility to promote and encourage healthy and positive lifestyles. With that being said...Here are some controversial covers. Some of these are way of of line in my opinion.
The September 2012 issue of Dazed, starring Azealia Banks and a shiny pink condom, was banned in seven countries
Not only was Elle blasted for lightening cover star Gabourey Sidibe’s skin for their 25th Anniversary Issue, they also neglected to give her the standard female cover photo treatment: three-quarters of the woman’s body centered, with strong margins of space on either side.
Vogue Italia September 2011
Photographed by Steven Meisel, Stella Tennant teams her Prada coat, nose ring and scissors with a waist corseted to a frightening 13 inches. The styling was an ode to Ethel Granger, the woman with the tiniest waist on earth.
Vogue Hommes International Fall/Winter 2012
The Terry Richardson-lensed cover of Vogue Hommes International, featuring a smoldering Stephanie Seymour and Marlon Teixiera, was said to glamorize domestic abuse. Numerous advocacy groups petitioned Condé Nast demanding it be pulled from stands.
More For You:
Clothing designer Brian Litchenberg, who has had his Tshirts placed on the likes of big named celebs such as Miley, and Rihanna designed some controversial shirts that were being sold at the popular clothing store Kitson. The shirts have the names of prescription drugs on the back including Adderall, Xanax, and Vicodin. People have been very upset about the promotion of drug use, others say it is a form of art and reflection of pop culture.
I personally feel it is horrible to glorify drug use, everyone knows someone who has abused drugs and passed away. Everyone knows a recovering addict. As a designer I would not feel good going to sleep at night knowing I was making money off something that has taken so many lives, or destroyed families. With all the power that these popular designers and retail stores have they should promote positive, healthy, and inspiring lifestyles.
How do you feel about these tops..Would you wear them or is this crossing the line?
Recently I have been in the mood to be SO comfy, I don't feel like wearing anything that I need to adjust or that is tight or anything that takes much effort!
Here are the items that I have been wearing non stop.
1. Rompers or Jumpsuits - They are SO comfortable and I can move around, run errands or go out in them and look put together. It is just such an easy look to wear. This black one that I am wearing is by BooHoo
2. I am obsessed with giant oversized sweaters!! They are the most amazing thing ever. The one with the eyeball on it that I'm always wearing is by Iron Fist.
3. Ryan Porter bracelets!! I don't even take mine off. It feels like it's not even there, it is so delecate and cute. My friend Malese Jow has one that says HOODRAT (I custom designed it for her on the Ryan Porter website) so epic.
What have you been wearing?

My friend Aimee Teegarden is the lead in a new show called "Star Crossed" set to air on the CW next season. Last week she attended Comic Con and I got to dress her! I selected this classic black an white number for the Entertainment Weeky party paired with a modern clutch and some powder blue heels.
Are you guys still in love with the black and white trend? I could wear it forever! So classic, so chic and so timeless.
Last weekend I had fun with my little cousin Melissa. I sometimes pretend she's my very own little sister...since all I got stuck with is a bratty younger brother. We watched TV ate hot Cheetos and played dress up. I'm always happy to voice her a little fashion 101 I tell her all the tips and tricks of the trade. She loves fashion just as much as any 12 year old (going on 13 this summer) but I think she's lucky to have an older cousin with the best samples to play dress up in. Here is a little intro to my gorgeous red head cousin Melissa.
So my uniform is basically black leggings. I recently have had the pleasure of working with an awesome company called Black Milk Clothing. They make the most original and fun leggings ever. These are so sexy and are my current obsession because I can wear them under a dress or more casual with a hoodie.
What do you think of these leggings?
