This week was really hectic I worked on my AW10 collection soo much

I also had meetings about remodeling my new office in LA I'm so excited about that!! :D

I also attended three events this week first a fashion show at Greta boutique in beverly hills [it was really chic and the models looked uhhmazing] then I went to the US Weekly magazine hot hollywood party and then I went to the Samsung/tmobile party at blvd3 in hollywood

I wore a red dress from my new collection. I was obsessed with RED this week haha <3

I also did my nails "down right red"

I love RED for the month of Nov.

I'm excited for thanksgiving!! I'm making a big thanksgiving dinner with my family on Wed (I know thanksgiving is on Thurs) but my grandma and grandpa leave for Brazil on Thursday so we are going to celebrate early!! :]
 
 
The leather jacket is such a classic item, but this season we are finding new ways to wear it! Here are a few different ways to wear your leather jacket:
 
1. Contrast
Wearing something really dressy and adding a leather jacket gives your outfit contrast making you look so effortlessly fashionable! Try going with a bright color for a more dramatic effect.

 
2. Layered
The layered look is really hot this season! wearing a hoodie and button down shirt then topping it off with a leather jacket is a perfect way to stay warm and still be trendy. You can also add hats and scarves to complete the look.

 
 
3. Proportion
Playing with proportion is a fun way to incorporate your leather jacket. You can wear a mini skirt or a pair of shorts to make your look more flirty and young. Also,wearing a cropped leather jacket can work wonders on shorter girls because it is less overpowering on your stature.

4. Rockstar
By throwing on a leather jacket over an old band T-shirt and some skinny jeans you have a classic street look that will never go out of style. Try adding boots to your look for a more glam rock feel.

Okay,so I'm currently obsessed with wearing all black and white.

the past few events i've attended I wore all black and white

after the music video party i went to saddle ranch in hollywood on sunset with my friend Morgan and we had the most bomb cotton candy eevverrr!! :) so much fun.

last week i stopped by the DCshoe party on Melrose,it was a new collection and i LOVED it. I got to see my friends Krystal and Lucy and the DJ was playing really good music! :) overall good night (beside the fact that i fell down in front of a few people hahaha)

Other than going to events and dressing like a penguin lol I have been working really hard on my FALL/WINTER 2010 collection I'm SOSOSOOOOOo excited about it. it's going to be out of this world! I have so many exciting things going on with Li Cari and I can't wait to share the news with youuuu! but for now It's top secret and I can't tell :)

oh-PS I'm really excited that I got a Disneyland pass!!! I'm going to go when I have free time :] I got to go last week and had a blast. Good thing I wore my leather jacket because it got really cold at night lol

wow! stresssball is the perfect word to describe how my life has been for the past few weeeeks!

Now that my Spring/Summer 2010 collection is finished I have been showing at FASHION WEEK,doing interviews,attending events,dressing celebs for the carpet and other random stuff :]

Oct.1st I had a show for Phoenix Fashion Week. It was so much fun. My best friend Morgan was hosting it! We loved being in Arizona for a week,got to attend the Charity Fashion Show for the Susan G Koman foundation. everything was PINK! and i gave one of my pink dresses to be auctioned off at the charity :D so cool.

gosh,the past few months have really been intense in my life. From working on new collections,the premiere of my MTV reality show (www.houseofjazmin.mtv.com ), getting ready for fashion week and dealing with boy drama,friend drama. wow. busybusybusy.

I got some down time for labor day weekend and went to Santa Barbara with my friend Jenn and MAMA<3 and little brother. It was such a gorgeous day. the sky could not have been more BLUE and the ocean was amazing.

Today is my brothers first day of high school! I'm excited for him<3

This weekend I had to run around town like CRAZYY. I'm sad that my bestie morgan was in San Fran. I miss her very much.

I went to the W hotel with my friend Khristynne for an event. I wore a little black dress that I lovelovelove. and Khristynne wore the white nautical babydoll dress that you can see in the background =] haha. 

Then on Friday Khristynne came over for a photo shoot of my NEW COLLECTIONNN!! wooo. It was really fun and we shot ALL the looks. The pictures came out SO uh-mazing. I'm reeeally excited for Spring/Summer 2010 I think you are all going to L O V E the new looks<3  after the photo shoot we went to the mall and ate mongolian bbq together<3 and we took our little brothers with us :D it was cuute.

On Sat. I look my friend Zoe Myers some outfits for her music video shoot! She shot her video this weekend and I can't wait to see it! I'm sure it'll be uhh-mazinggg. On the way back home I took a picture of the horrible fire =[ You can see it from the freewayyy and its really scary.

LASSST WEEK on House of Jazmin I was getting ready for LA FASHION WEEK!!

Morgan and I were casting models for the runway show. It was such a fun casting, it was an all day thing-we had them walk,looked at their books and talked to them for a bit.

 after selecting our 15 girls we had a fitting the day before the show- it was so insane. Morgan and I changed the girls about 32874237423 times before we had the final order/run of show. It is SO important to have the right dress on the right model. We also styled each look with jewelry,accessories,and shoes.

I also had a meeting with the HAIR/MAKEUP team. I had to make sure we were all on the same page with the makeup and hair look I picked for the show,so we tested it on one of the girls

Hey Buzznett!

It has been SUCH an exciting,amazing and busy week for me! Tuesday night was the PREMIERE of my MTV show "House of Jazmin"

We had a really fun party to celebrate :) I want to share it with you so here are pictures<3

I worked really hard on my outfit for the party! It was this bright yellow top with a white mini skirt! =] I think this outfit was a good way to say goodbye to SUMMER<3 Since Fall is right around the corner. What do you think of this look?

My bestie Morgan also wore one of my designs,a white silk dress that ties in the back! She looked SO uhh-mazing. As silly as it sounds,I LOVE that we matched hahaah.

 What in the world would I do without my best friend morgan! :)

As always<3 I had my gorgeous Li Cari models at the premiere party wearing looks from line.

I pretty much love every day in July! =]

4th of July is the best holiday. I just love how the sun goes down so late and having a BBQ with the family and friends<33 and I love a good POOL PARTYYY! Last Friday July 3rd I had my family and friends over and we had so much funn. red white and blue cupcakes were on the menu and hot dogs and hamburgersss yyum. Let's just say the diet was OFF last weekend. hah.

I spent the day working on my TAN and then we had fireworks at night! =] so much funn.

my three little cousins all have RED hair! They are soo ador. I was trying to teach them how to swim ALL dayyy haha it's a work in progress. =]

THENNN! For 4th if July my friend,Veronica, and I drove down to San Diego for the rest of the weekend! It was soooo much fun. I loved it. We went to the Coronado Island beach.

I got SO freakin T A N because we were on the beach the entire weekendd<3 It was gorgeous. I was happy that I got to wear my new yellow crochet swimsuit! I was waiting to wear it this summerrrr hahaha. I'm such a dork.

At night we ate candy and saw a really pretty firework show above the coronado bay. What a perfect 4th of July weekend!! <3

Okay,so it's been FOREVERR since my last update.

I'm really depressed that we are in JUNE and it's still not HOT or SUNNY in CA. This is so not right. =[ i really crave the summer. So to cheer myself up, today I got this really cute MARC by MARC JACOBS watch! yayaya it's white and gold. bahh,i LOVE gold. here is a picture of it:

today was my little brothers 8th grade graduation! It was really cute. My family took pictures and then we all went out lunch together. here is picture of my little brother<33 his name is JOEY I took this picture in my car.

On Friday June 5th I had a charity fashion show for Project Ethos and it was SO much funnn. I got to see a bunch of my friends and had a killer fashion show with my amazing models.

ohh-and the night before the fashion show i dyed my hair LIGHT BROWN!! ahh. it kind of is a BIG change but i really like it =D and I'm gong to let my bangs grow out.Crazy. So here is an update of my hair:

Hope you are all doing welllll!

I'm having a weird week to tell you the truth.

I think it's because Monday was memorial day. hhaha 3day weekend type deals always make my week feel a little off. NEW YORK FASHION WEEEK<333 I really can't wait.I'm also REALLY excited about this fashion show I'm having on Friday June 5th for PROJECT ETHOS it's a really cool FASHION-MUSIC-ART event in Hollywood that gives back to the childrens hospital of los angeles. It should be SO much funnn.

Hola buzznet!

Aahh, why does it feel like I just posted a blog when it was really almost a week ago! I guess time does fly. Anywayyy! I'm so excited that last weekend I got to shoot my streetwear line with politeinpublic.com they are SO amazing. Such cool photography! Tori did the makeup for it and she is SO amazing :D the models looked GORGEOUS and the hairstylist was also really good. We had a great team. I had models wearing the HOODIES,Tshirts,TANKS, here are some behind the scenes pictures!

I also needed some shots of myself for some press stuff I'm doing! They requested some photos of me, so I had to get in the hair & makeup chair ahhh.

I'm really REALLY into the side ponytail thing!! hahah i love it. I wear my hair like that as much as I can. and I also LOVE LOVE LOVE the super bronze makeup look.

So it was kind of a 2 in 1 shoot! Haha street wear and PR shots. It was a really long day but I had so much fun and im really happy with the outcome of the shoot :D

After the shoot I was so sleep! I went home and got to RELAXX<33 drank some tea and just hung out at home

I'm really exited because the magazine is all about -respect for your loves, desires and aspirations. It's a magazine about fashion, style, celebrity, life, love,

I'm SO happy that summer is almost here<33 I love it. I want to tan and stay by the pool all dayyy! haha. One of the things that I LOVE about summer is that everything gets lighter! you can bust out the mini skirts,fun sun dresses,soft cotton tank tops and bright colors yyayyy,just thinking about it makes me exciteddd LOL

THINGS YOU SHOULD NOT LIVE WITH OUT DURING THIS SUMMER:

1. A cute hat Not only will you look stylish and amazing with a glamorous hat on this summer but it will protect your face from sun damage while tanning the rest of your body into a glowing bronze masterpiece.

2. Sunglasses (duh) do I really even need to talk about it? lol just get a cute pair of oversized sunglasses for this summer in a fun color like RED OR WHITE

3. A cute beach bag! You need a big one to throw all your summer gear in :) dont' forget to bring your ipod & some fashion magazines to the beach with you

4.High Heels so your legs can look amazing in your short summer frocks!

5.lip gloss for a summer shine that is light and flirty! (i like MAC)

6. tons of hair ties i always need to put my hair in a bun or a pony tail during the day! At night it's cute to leave it down for a sexy beach hair look!

7. Conditioner is a MUST! You need to take really good care of your hair in the summer because going in the pool can really damage it.

8. a yummy big fresh SALAD. During the summer i love to eat salad because it's so light and refreshing. I love salad from CPK :D and don't forget to drink lots of water

9. ICED COFFEEEEE!!! need i say more? haha. coffeee bean & starbucks. yumm.

10. a good music PLAYLIST for the car or hanging out with your friends or just relaxing by the pool

Here are some pictures from the genlux magazine event I went to on Saturday. It was a fun,and I love Genlux magazine-they are so fresh & high fashion.  [I made the dress I'm wearing! It was from my spring/summer collection and it is a white silk dress that ties in the back.  Kinda silly because I NEVER wore it! lol I guess I was just waiting for the perfect thing to wear it to!]

EEE! and i also dyed my hair ALL ONE COLOR!! yayyy, i was soo sick of the blonde parts. YAYYAYY for all brown hair.lol.

This week has been SO busy for meee! It feels like im doing a million things lol :]]

I'm working on finishing my street wear line-I have tanks and hoodies and Tshirts and they can be worn from day to day. They are SO comfy and you can layer with them =] I'm SO excited to get all the pieces done! I'm also planning a photo shoot for THIS weekend to photograph the new line and create my look book! I'm working with an amazing team of models,hair and makeup and the photographer has a gorgeous studio! So the shoot should be soo much funnn. =]]

 I'm also working on getting all my pieces up on shopflick it's a site that sells my clothing. They are such a cool website because you can go on there and watch little video clips of the clothing you want to buy! SO it takes online shopping to a new level! LOL

AND! doing some fun fashion segments with shopflick and it will involve dressing some celebs, I can't wait to share it with you all!!

Hey everyone =]]

This week flew by! I don't even know how it passed by SO fast. Wow.

Here are some pictures from a shoot a did a few days ago! It was soo much funn  :D You will all see the final shots soon!! this is just a behind the scenes type deal lol..

Anywayyyayay,I feel like posting a blog about personal style because I was thinking about it this week! I think having a personal style is so important. It reflects who you are as a person, and expresses how you feel! My mood totally affects my style. When I'm in a fun mood I might go for a cute sundress or maybe bright colors! When I'm in a weird mood or don't feel that great I'll just throw on a hoodie and jeans (I normally don't wear jeans)

 I also noticed that some people have a very particular style that doesn't really change. For example some people have a "funky" style or "girly" or "rocker" and they totally stick to it! I don't think I could EVER stick with a certain style for more than a few days because I'm always changing and my look as a designer is always evolving as well!

An example of a style being very consistent is MARY KATE AND ASHLEY! They had the same look for years! They more very loose-fitting and drab-color outfits. However They made an impact on style and trends! Not only did they keep their style pretty much the same they also kept their HAIR & MAKEUP look the same.

One person that is constantly innovating their look is LILLY ALLEN! She never really wears the same hair/makeup/style over and over!

 NOW FOR THE IMPORTANT PART! :)

Hope everyone had a gorgeous weekend! I got to relax a little. Went out with friends, went to church, and got to sleep in :] yayyy oh-and I cleaned my room [not so fun]

I feel like sharing with you guys some of my favorite things! Things that aren't that important but still bring a smile to my face :D lol.

Since I'm a fashion designer && fashion is pretty much all I think about I'm starting off with:

HATS!

A really cute hat always puts me in a good mood. It may sound silly but same goes for bows. I'm obsessed with Little details like that<3 LOOK AT HOW CUUUTE this hat is:  

As a fashion designer, I dress and style celebs and models all the time...one thing I noticed is that Most people think they don't look good in hats. Or that they can't get away with wearing something over the top. I SAY GO FOR IT! You only live once. WEAR THE HAT YOU WANT WITHOUT CARING WHAT PEOPLE THINK ABOUT YOU!  Put on some crazy shoes or a funky dress. =] live a little. 

Another thing that puts me in a good mood is TEXTING! Hahah I know that it's kind of cliché of me but let's just be honest-when I get a text msg from a cute boy that I like ,it puts a big smile on my face. Or when your best friend texts you something silly and you laugh out loud. Gotta love it<3  I also LOVE to update my twitter from my phone! I'm addicted to it actually. Next on my favorite list is SUSHI <3lol!! I love eating out. My favorite is SUSHI. Yummm. I love going out for sushi-I can't get sick of it. For my birthday I had my dinner and party at a gorgeous sushi bar in downtown LA. It was on the 21^st floor and the view was insane.  My friend Brett got me some plastic hellokitty chopsticks for my birthday!! I use them all the time J I always get cucumber rolls! I love vegetarian sushi and tofu.

I'm SO obsessed with LLAMAS!! Hahaha, they are my favorite animals. One day I want to own a llama -a pet llama<3 that would be amazing. Lol I would take it for walks and put jewelry on it-no lie. Another favorite of mine is...MAKEUP!! I love playing with different colors and doing really BIG eyelashes when I go out-or go to events! I would have to say my favorite makeup line is JE BEAU COSMETICS http://www.jebeauint.com/jebeau/ I don't always wear makeup but if it's not me getting all done up its my models! Do's && Don'ts

DO: wear a big belt! Wear a big belt to show off your waist and bring shape to a flowy or loose dress. You can also wear a big belt to add a pop of color to your outfit. This is such a great way of using a BIG belt. Hilary looks chic and put together,the big belt is the final touch making the look PERFECT:

DO: Wear lots of GOLD,GOLD,GOLD! I love adding gold to an outfit,it always makes me feel more chic. This summer wear a gold necklace with your swimwear! In my spring/summer 09 collection I put gold buttons on almost everything so it makes it easy to match it up with a gold cluch bag or gold heels!!

DO: wear a BOW in your hair. It always dresses up your look. You can use it to add a touch of color ...or if you just want to be playful & girly! You can make it look high fashion with a big oversized bow,or play it down with a tiny bow! It's a fun look for this summer because it can hold your bangs back or just pop with a cute sun dress!

DON'T: wear MC hammer pants,flowy pants,whatever you want to call them. Don't wear them. I've seen some on the runway and in photo shoots,I just don't feel like this trend would flatter anyone. It might look high fashion in some shots but in day to day life,just please STAY AWAYYYY from them :)

DO: wear a fun FLORAL print dress! I love floral print for the summer. a Tiny floral print makes for a vintage or old fashion feel. Go for a bigger print if you want sleek night time look.

I got to relax a little bit yayyay [I forgot how amazing sleeping in can be]

Last night I had a bigg party with all my friends and family to celebrate my 21st birthday! It was SOOOooo much funnn :D I had dinner at aan amazingly gorgeous sushi bar that overlooks the entire city of LA! after dinner my friends and I all went to the lounge part of the venue to dance,take pictures,and just enjoy the night.

everyone had SUCH a blast taking pictures in the polite in public photo booth! it was a hit. here is the link to see all my friends being silly! we used props because my birthday had a victorian tea party theme so you will see wigs and fans and some fun stuffff!

WOW am I realllly 21 hahh :] for my brithdayyy my bestie morgan and i went to a club in Hollywood called MY HOUSE with a few friends! It was so much funnnn we danced the night away <333 pictures:
